This series of movies (in-progress) considers Abu Ghraib as a complex dissectible organism.

Some of the subsystems I attempt to simplify are built on concepts of dehumanization, interpretation and representation of truth, transformation of history into media spectacle, and the vice versa.

The audio texts of these movies are passages from testimony by tortured prisoners. This testimony, taken and translated by contractors for the US Army, was used as evidence against the 7 Army reservists held responsible for the torture.

The visual portion comes from various sources as an exploration of ways to restructure the presentation of these horrors.
